Position: Civil Engineering Industry Technical Specialist
Schedule: Full-time
Location: San Diego
Description:

U.S. CAD is a leading provider of software, services and support to the structural design community. We are seeking a Civil Engineering Industry Technical Specialist to work with their sales team for the Autodesk Civil Engineering Software Solutions.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Demonstrate Autodesk Civil Engineering Solutions (including AutoCAD Civil 3D®); present the advantages and benefits of the software to advance the practice of civil engineering
* Provide analysis of Autodesk products vs. competitive products throughout the sales cycle
* Provide technical product assistance to inside and outside sales representatives to ensure that all customer questions are answered.
* Share in-depth product and customer knowledge with the sales team to help increase Autodesk product sales
* Develop detailed customer installation and implementation plans
* Play a key role in further developing current accounts, identify other solutions that would benefit the customer
* Provide technical presentations at trade shows and other regional events
* Other duties and responsibilities required to effectively support the needs of our client company, their customers, and Autodesk

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering a definite plus
* Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering design (7 years preferred)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Experience with AutoCAD, Land Desktop and Civil 3D®, and experience with other Civil Engineering technologies a plus
* Teaching, consulting or technical sales experience (preferred)
* Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA

Position: Structural Industry Technical Specialist
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Costa Mesa
Description:

* Presents products as solutions, presenting the advantages and benefits for advancing the practice of structural engineering.
* Develops and implements detailed customer installation and implementation plans (i.e. Statements of Work) that optimize a customer's use of software to support structural processes.
* Plays a key role in further developing current accounts by identifying complete solutions to meet additional unrealized customer needs i.e. Collaboration Tools, Structural Analysis Tools for optimizing design, Cost Estimating, Specifications, etc.
* Coordinates & Collaborates with Autodesk, Inc. (one of the most progressive developers of structural applications servicing the building industry) for introducing and advancing emerging and leading edge structural practices.
* Provides competitive analysis of Autodesk products vs. competitive products throughout the sales cycle.
* Partners with sales team to gain and share in-depth product and customer knowledge in order to increase Autodesk product sales.
* Provides technical product assistance to both inside and outside sales representatives ensuring technical closure.
* Develops and conducts professional product presentations and demonstrations in both small and large forums to generate sales and meet U.S. CAD and Autodesk revenue objectives.
* Customizes company-standard technical demonstrations to specifically address customer needs. In conjunction with sales team activities, may be required to proactively follow up with customer technical lead to provide additional information or answer specific technical questions.
* Relays information back to Sales Management regarding new product enhancements, prioritizations, etc. based on input from customers.

Position: Controller

Description:

This position reports to the CEO and VP and will provide hands-on leadership to a team of 3 direct reports focusing on the various finance functions including revenue recognition, accounts payable, credit and collection, financial analysis and reporting, general ledger, and payroll.

Desired characteristics include 8-10 years relevant experience, leadership and management skills, accountability, verbal communication, accuracy, integrity, organization, confidential, capable of meeting time-critical and deadline-sensitive targets, values the customer, possess the presence and poise to interact constructively and effectively with all members of the company.

Qualifications:

To be successful your work skills should include the ability to:

· Implement and maintain a month-end close checklist to meet 7 day reporting schedule

· Prepare and communicate financial results to the executive team

· Work with outside CPA, pass audits and know your way around due diligence for M&A’s

· Cash management including investing, insurances, capital purchases, planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis

· Provide accurate design, development, implementation and monitoring of accounting policies and procedures and install the necessary internal controls to provide accurate financials.

· Ensure continuous review of processes to achieve the highest level of quality service from the finance team.

Potential Candidates must have verifiable US Bachelors and Masters Business Degrees. A clean financial and criminal background is also required. Software industry is a plus as well as working knowledge of Net Suite.

Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate Autodesk Vault and ProductStream Solutions; present the advantages and benefits of the software to advance the practice of data management
* Provide technical product assistance to inside and outside sales representatives to ensure that all customer questions are answered.
* Share in-depth product and customer knowledge with the sales team to help increase Autodesk product sales
* Develop detailed customer installation and implementation plans
* Play a key role in further developing current accounts, identify other solutions that would benefit the customer
* Support and administration of various database applications
* Provide technical presentations at trade shows and other regional events
* Other duties and responsibilities required to effectively support the needs of our client company, their customers, and Autodesk

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering, Facility Management or related technical field
* Minimum 2 years experience in Facility Management (5 years preferred)
* Minimum 5 years experience in all aspects of database system operation (Microsoft Access 2003 or higher, Microsoft SQL server 2000/2005, Oracle 9i or higher)
* Experience with AutoDesk FMDesktop (Facility Manager, Facility Link, Facility Web and Facility Request)
* Experience with AutoCAD 2007 or higher and/or AutoCAD Architectural Desktop 2008 or Revit Architecture 2008
* Knowledge of various aspects of Networking and Web Server configuration (to include: Various operating systems, TCP/IP, IIS, ODBC connections, permissions)
* Knowledge of building, building systems, building codes to include BOMA Standards
* Knowledge of Space Planning and Analysis
* Experience with AutoCAD Vault and ProductStream helpful
