Mr. Wallace is a Technical Specialist in Manufacturing for U.S. CAD with over 16 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the Autodesk reseller channel, he worked as a mechanical drafter for an industrial sprinkler manufacturer in Northern California. Since 1996, Mr. Wallace has trained thousands of mechanical and manufacturing engineers, designers, and drafters from a wide variety of companies in Southern California on the use of Autodesk Manufacturing products. Ms. King is the Training Manager for U.S. CAD and specializes in teaching all levels of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map, and Land Desktop. She has been using AutoCAD since 1987 and has been providing Autodesk product training since 1993. Her experience includes the application of Autodesk technologies in the Mapping and Civil Engineering industry and for two years also provided Microstation training and technical support. Ms. King is an Autodesk Certified Instructor, has been a featured instructor at Autodesk University three times, and has also been the recipient of the Autodesk Instructor Quality Award three times. Ms. King is especially skilled at relating to the class participant’s needs to the training material to help them to get the most out of their training courses.

This session focuses on using the new Datalink tool to create Tables in AutoCAD that are linked (cell for cell) to your Excel spreadsheet. This is not the old OLE technique! We will learn how to create links to Excel spreadsheets in several different ways, and how to edit these linked spreadsheets. We will also spend some time talking about creating Table styles.

Mr. Bennett is a Technical Specialist for the Architecture and Design Visualization industries for U.S. CAD with over 12 years of experience. Prior to joining the reseller channel, he worked as a drafter, designer and CAD manager for an engineered lumber products company where he worked on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Mr. Bennett is an Autodesk Certified Expert focusing on AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, and 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design and is a moderator and manager for the AutoCAD Architecture and Design Visualization forums for AUGI. Ms. Santer is the Civil Engineering Technical Manager for U.S. CAD managing the Civil Engineering division and technical staff. Prior to joining the reseller channel, she worked as a field surveyor, an inside survey technician and supervisor. Ms. Santer over 7 years industry experience as a civil drafter and a civil designer on large commercial and industrial projects throughout California. She has been a part-time professor at California Polytechnic State University, a featured instructor at Autodesk University several times, and in 2006 earned Autodesk Instructor of the Year for the America’s. She regularly provides training, customization, and support for AutoCAD, Autodesk Land Desktop, and Civil 3D and has been involved with over 40 Civil 3D implementations throughout the Western U.S.

This session will cover how to create and set up a template file in order to create production drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009. This is a shotgun course into creating, managing and editing your company’s CAD Standards. For many years Styles in Civil 3D have always been underestimated. Jeremiah is a Geospatial Technical Specialist for Autodesk, Inc. He has been using Autodesk based products since 1995 and has been an Autodesk Map based GIS practitioner since 2001. He spent 5 years as the CAD and GIS Supervisor of an independent telephone company giving him great exposure and experience in the communications industry and prior to that worked as an Autodesk Instructor and support technician. Jeremiah attained his BS in Industrial Technology from CSU, Fresno in 1999 and won the Top DAUG competition at AU 2003.

Today the compartmentalization of data silos is starting to erode and lead to a new integrated environment where the traditional 2D landscape of CAD and GIS are blending data with 3D building models. The solution ends in a web-based mapping environment that users are accustomed to, coupled with 2D and 3D building models that have game-like functionality. Integrating architectural floor plans and building models from Revit the building information is then distributed using the web-based mapping technology.

Mr. Gant is a Technical Specialist in Architecture for U.S. CAD with over 8 years experience in the Architectural industry. Eddie Perlberg has spent the last 17 years directly involved with the Architectural industry in the Milwaukee area. Mr. Klare is a Technical Specialist in Civil Engineering for U.S. CAD with over 9 years experience in the Civil Engineering industry. Prior to joining the reseller channel, he was a drafter, designer, and CAD Manager with industry experience in flood and geotechnical mapping, as well as residential and commercial site design. Mr. Klare is an Autodesk Certified Instructor and an Autodesk Civil 3D Implementation Certified Expert with expertise in the Autodesk Vault data management solution having implemented Vault with several AEC firms and Government agencies. He regularly conducts seminars on the use of Autodesk technology in civil engineering and provides implementation services, customization, training, and support to civil engineering professionals on Civil 3D.

Mr. Wallace is a Technical Specialist in Manufacturing for U.S. CAD with over 16 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the Autodesk reseller channel, he worked as a mechanical drafter for an industrial sprinkler manufacturer in Northern California. Since 1996, Mr. Wallace has trained thousands of mechanical and manufacturing engineers, designers, and drafters from a wide variety of companies in Southern California on the use of Autodesk Manufacturing products. He is an Autodesk Certified Instructor, an Autodesk Manufacturing Implementation Certified Expert and regularly provides implementation services, customization, training, and support on AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault and Productstream data management solutions.
Inventor’s Frame Generator tool is an extremely powerful and easy to use way to create frames (both structural and non-structural).  This session will cover the use of this tool and how easy it is create structural frame members for use in Inventor and how to use Inventor’s Frame Generator “finishing tools.”  In addition, learn how to publish your own ‘custom’ shapes to the Frame Generator.
Ms. King is the Training Manager for U.S. CAD and specializes in teaching all levels of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map, and Land Desktop. She has been using AutoCAD since 1987 and has been providing Autodesk product training since 1993. Her experience includes the application of Autodesk technologies in the Mapping and Civil Engineering industry and for two years also provided Microstation training and technical support. Ms. King is an Autodesk Certified Instructor, has been a featured instructor at Autodesk University three times, and has also been the recipient of the Autodesk Instructor Quality Award three times. Ms. King is especially skilled at relating to the class participant’s needs to the training material to help them to get the most out of their training courses.
